Strathclyde's SIAM-IMA Student Chapter's first event of the year will be a CV Writing Workshop held on Wednesday 12th February, 3 - 5pm in SW 601B, Stenhouse Wing.


The workshop will focus on how to build your CV for both academia and industry. The afternoon will consist of two halves: a one hour presentation by Anna Selwood, Careers and Employability Consultant, Faculty of Science, followed by an hour of personal CV building with guidance from Anna, as well as two faculty members from within the Maths and Stats Department.


It is recommended that you bring your own laptop to work on your personal CV.

On Monday October 14th, we will be hosting a PhD Information Night where students will be able to come along and find out more about what it means to study for a PhD.


The event is open to all students, but might be more relevant for third and fourth year students - so please, if the thought of a PhD has crossed you mind, or if you are keen to find out more, do consider coming along!
